Despite being almost blind, Aldous Huxley saw what a lot of us couldn’t: our own capacities to plumb the depths of our minds. He was crucial in introducing intellectual big-wigs like Allen Ginsberg and Timothy Leary to the many worlds of psychedelic experimentation. The psychedelic world that we know today is owed, in many ways, to Huxley.
