Aldous Huxley was a man of mythical proportions. Quite literally, he was super tall. But he loomed large intellectually, creatively, and psychedelically, too. He was one of the most famous people in the world when he was alive, and he seemed to know all there was to know on every topic. Despite the fact that his reputation has narrowed since his death to only include his single dystopian novel, A Brave New World, and for having been a renegade hippie of sorts who took mescaline and saw through to the other side, his spirit lives on. This week, we honor the great spirit Aldous Huxley.
