On a personal level, we grow from new experiences. We need this learning. Coming up against difference allows us to know ourselves more clearly. It isn’t always clear what we’ve learned from an experience. So, integration helps us include those new moments into ourselves. We can look at them and sense our response. From taking the time to really see how we reacted in a moment – what we resisted or were drawn to – we can move forward more clearly.
