Shakti is known as mother goddess, fierce warrior, and dark goddess of destruction.
Two of her specific forms are Parvati and Kali.
Parvati is the wife of Shiva.
She is a symbol of fertility, devotion, and asceticism.
Kali, alternatively, is a warrior and a symbol for the destructive and fleeting nature of life. Kali destroys obstacles.
